Where is this? A junkyard? Someone’s collection? I mean, most look like they’re only parts at this point. I’m still fascinated by what would possess someone to collect this much stuff and just park it.

All of the weird Canuckian Fords and random Limeyland cars. I wonder what the cut down 60 started life as, I hope not a Ranch Wagon (as a 2 door wagon is quite rare). A Riley 1.5 is a rarity too.

Ah crap, a Courier Sedan Delivery. I’d be surprised if there are more than a few survivors. This was a commercial version of the Ranch Wagon, which I think lacked rear seats. 1960 was the last year of the full sized sedan delivery. I’ve never seen one before.

heard rumours that a small batch of 60 fullsize commercial rancheros were made. I have no evidence of this.

I’ve heard of that too, never seen any period shots, and I have doubts. Ford was devoted to the Falcon by then.
Full sized 60 Fords were notorious rusters. Back in the early 90s, my dad bought a 30K mile (indicated, and likely accurate via interior wear, or lack thereof) 60 Country Sedan. It was a cool old car, and he had seller’s remorse when he finally sold it - I’ve tried tracking down the car to no avail, and I suspect it was exported or maybe met an unfortunate end. Even 20-25 years ago, it was a unicorn - and they made a lot more of those than the Sedan Delivery.

The 60 ford is one of those strandalone years, unto itself.

Underpinnings are more or less the same as the ‘61-’64, but the body? Not so much.

Yep, some similarities to 61, but for wagons especially, a one year design, and I think one of the widest cars made. My dad gave me some driving lessons in that wagon, as I was a young teen, and I remember it clearly. Via the car my dad had, I like the design of the 60, and wouldn’t mind finding either a wagon or 4 door hardtop. Nice ones are insanely hard to find.

‘50 Hudson, Nash fullsize, and the corner of what appears to be another ‘47/’48 Chrysler...
Is the Hudson a Six or a Commodore?

I already have two, in about the same shape, maybe I should finish one of those first....
Or maybe I should just buy as many projects as I can and have my own personal fleet of non-running first gen F-series trucks....
Decisions decisions...
